Seriously, this took me way longer than it should have

It took a great deal of bashing my head against a wall wondering why said wall wouldn’t move, but I finally got a code up and running using javascript and HTML5 that easily changes pictures when they are clicked on. Go ahead, try it out! Click on the picture above to switch to the next picture and so on and so forth. I don’t have any code for going back yet, but I’m working on it. Anyway, this is probably going to be the new format for Flash Koma in the future (though they’ll be about the same size as the flashes were, not tiny like this test canvas). Although this does present some new problems, namely the fact that each ‘frame’ has to be saved as a separate image, but I’ll tackle that as time goes on. Also, animation in javascript is complicated, though Flash Koma never really had much animation to begin with so I may just see about using gifs. Ah, but gifs loop… Hmmm, there’s obviously still a lot of work to do before I iron out all the kinks, but the important part is that I have a basis to work from now and as they say it’s always the first step that’s the hardest.
